Valley Shepherd creamery is New jersey’s only sheep milk focused creamery producing over 40 products from sheep, goat and cow milk.
With products sold at many major food stores such as Whole Foods, Wegmans and Kings, Valley Shepherd is expanding.
The creamery is seeking a food centric graduate with a passion for artisan made foods.
The position will entail cheese making, affinage, yogurt making, new product development and exposure to the entire range of creamery operations. Some Artisan and some involving modern, computer driven controllers.
Candidate should be:
-Passionate about artisan foods.
-Have certain mechanical ability to work with equipment.
-Be able to lift a 40Lb wheel.
-Agriculture, food science or related degree.
-Ready to move to beautiful western NJ.
