About Mahwah Veterinarian Groom & Board:
We are a family operated well-established practice in Mahwah, New Jersey run by Dr. Rita Rivero. Dr Rita Riveo graduated from the University of Oklahoma and was the Veterinarian In Attendance with the American Kennel Club and Kennel Club of Northern New Jersey, All Breed Dog Show. She is also the owner and head veterinarian of Demarest Veterinarian and has been serving Bergen County for years.
What makes Dr. Rivero stand out is her effort to provide the best possible care to patients unconditionally. We consider all pets cherished family members and we specialize in providing humane and compassionate care for all cats and dogs in Northern New Jersey.
Part of our mission is to give back to our community, so in 2016 Dr. Rivero started the Wanuza Pinheiro Cruz Animal Medical Care Foundation. WPCAMC Foundation provides pro bono and low cost care to patients in need, in honor of her late mother who was an animal activist. Dr. Rivero believes that her patients are entitled to the same quality of service that any human would expect of his or her own care. In addition, every year we partner with local shelters and three New Jersey rescue groups, Southern Paws, Real Dog Rescue and CLAWS. With our partners, we help provide veterinary care, boarding arrangements, grooming, and even hosting adoption events and fundraisers.
We are looking for a friendly, team player, compassionate, responsible and independent kennel assistant to join our team part-time. Our future kennel assistant should also be eager to learn from our veterinarians, groomers, and trainers!
