Environment and Sustainability

Welcome to the Environment and Sustainability Community

Through Rutgers Career Exploration and Success, you will find career resources, career advice, job/internship and networking opportunities, and workshops and events to help you explore career options in these sectors.

Current, pressing issues concerning our environment and its sustainability have necessitated growth in this industry. The Environmental and Sustainability career community is designed to assist students interested in environmental science and risk assessment; sustainability and resilience planning; governance and stewardship, including law and advocacy; landscape assessment and design; and how societies are influenced by the earth sciences such as meteorology and climatology, geology, and marine science. The career community more generally addresses ecological research, evolutionary origins, maintenance of biodiversity, and conserving and restoring native ecosystems.
